It's time for fund raising.
For every $10 sponsorship you bring in you will get a raffle ticket!I've raised $140.00 in the last 2 days, good for 14 raffle tickets.
I've also been given $90 worth of gift cards by local businesses that want to support our tournament (worth another 9 tickets). These will be given as raffle prizes.
So I'm up to 23 raffle tickets already, and I'm headed back out tomorrow!
All club members are encouraged to talk to local businesses and offer them the opportunity to sponsor our tournament. What we are offering is "affordable advertising". There is a Sponsor Invitation attached, please print a few copies and take it with you if you want to fund raise.
A few guidelines:
1. The sponsor money is used to cover the cost of the disc and prize package, it does not go directly to payout.
2. Tournament Sponsors ($75 donation) will have their name and logo on an 18"x48" laminated banner that will be displayed at tournament central.
3. Only 1 sponsor per hole. They will not have to share a sign. Once all 27 holes are sponsored, no other hole sponsors will be accepted.
4. Please offer a receipt. I have a receipt book and can mail or drop off a receipt, of you can hand-write a receipt.
5. Let businesses know that we are a registered non-profit corporation. However, if they ask if they can write off their donation, you must let them know that we are not registered as a charity (501C3 i.e. Goodwill, Churches, etc) and they can't write it off completely, but they can file it as advertisement under their normal business expenses.
Good luck and happy fund raising!!!
(Sponsors so far include: Life Source, Keizer Martial Arts, Town & Country Bowling, Hydro Sports, Gene’s Meat Market, NW Kids Club, The Break Billiards & Brew, Guadalajara Grill, State Farm Keizer – Sam Goesch.)
